For over 50 years, YMA has provided young people with unforgettable experiences in the visual and performing arts. Within this supportive environment, students learn to play symphonies, participate in gallery shows, write poetry, perform in scenes and musicals, and build friendships that last a lifetime.  Our campers develop the critical face-to-face communication skills modern society sometimes neglects. They learn healthy, productive ways to express themselves as they develop a lifelong love of the arts.

YMA alumni range from an NPR correspondent to a Radio City Rockette; from a Broadway conductor to the Associate Concertmaster of the Oregon Symphony; from an amateur painter finding joy on the canvas to loving parents teaching their own children to be good citizens and arts supporters. The lessons learned at YMA travel throughout our world, making a positive impact regardless of the paths our students may take.

All gifts to YMA provide need-based financial aid unless otherwise specified. With your support, our students receive more than $100,000 in need-based financial aid annually. When you make a tax-deductible gift to YMA, you provide a deserving student with the opportunity to be inspired and nurtured here at YMA.

YMA General Fund

Your donation to the YMA Fund helps provide general support to YMA. Funding may be applied to areas including, but not limited to, overhead, supplies, fees, outreach, and financial aid.

Brian M. and Vicki L. Biggs Alumni Fund

Join your fellow alumni and join Brian M. and Vicki L. Biggs in providing much needed financial support for YMA campers. All donations made to the Brian M. and Vicki L. Biggs Alumni Fund go directly to offsetting the cost of tuition for campers that need financial assistance.

Double Your Impact

Make a donation to YMA today, make a matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust by December 31st, and claim 100% of your match as a credit on your Oregon State income tax. Up to $500 for individuals, $1000 for couples or $2500 for corporations.

Donors who contribute to Oregon cultural nonprofits, including ours, are eligible to make a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust and receive a 100% tax credit for their Trust donation (up to $500 for an individual, $1,000 for a couple filing jointly and $2,500 for a Class-C Corporation).
