Area of Study: DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY
Session 2: July 8 – July 20, 2012
Grades: 6-12
The Digital Photography class features instruction in composition, exposure techniques, black and white printing, color slide exposure, and photograms. Daily shooting assignments are followed by classroom computer work and group critiques.
Advanced photography students learn the rudiments of digital image manipulation and printing using Macintosh computers, the latest Adobe Photoshop software, and Epson 1270 color inkjet printers.
Photography students exhibit their work in a Gallery show and produce a ten minute slide show that opens the final performance on the last night of the session.
Each student must bring his/her own digital camera. For specific camera model recommendations or the camera requirements list, please contact the YMA Office.
