The Musical Theatre program at YMA offers hands-on experience in how to rehearse & produce Musical Theatre. Students will learn vocal technique, choreography, history, presentation, production process, and all the skills essential to becoming a proficient performer in musical theatre.
Some advanced Musical Theatre students have the opportunity to perform in a special production with the Dance and Theatre Departments on the last Wednesday night of the session. This performance is entitled ‘A Night of Theatre, Music and Dance’. All Musical Theatre students perform in the final camp performance.
