Tuition Assistance

Students must be registered before they can receive a financial aid application. Completed financial aid applications must be received by April 30, 2012. Notification of financial aid awards will be mailed after May 20, 2012.

Financial aid is awarded on a competitive basis, taking into consideration the following three factors:

Financial need of the student’s family
Proficiency of the student in the major artistic area
Needs of YMA to strengthen sections or departments after regular enrollments are completed

Every applicant will be given due consideration when financial aid is awarded, but because of the number of applicants, not every applicant will receive funds.
